We deliver the faculty’s undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), facilitate and encourage clinical and applied research, and develop and deliver postgraduate programmes across the school’s clinical areas

The MBChB is a highly challenging but extremely rewarding programme. It will give you the medical knowledge, clinical and research skills, attitudes, awareness and enthusiasm for a vocation in any field of medicine.

To apply for our Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme, you must first complete your first year of either our Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) or Biomedical Science (BSc) here at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. You can also apply if you have completed a relevant degree such as health sciences or biomedical sciences elsewhere.
