The Notre Dame’s National School of Medicine offers four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) programs in Fremantle and Sydney. Both programs have received full re-accreditation by the Australian Medical Council and are highly ranked by graduates in national surveys. The school has an established and growing reputation for producing high-quality, well-rounded medical graduates ready for internship.
In addition, the School of Medicine offers programs in Health and Medical Sciences, Health Professional Education, Health Leadership, and Bioethics, along with the Pre-Medicine Certificate and Higher Degrees in Research.
The School of Medicine is built on the values of respect for human life and for each person’s dignity, integrity, compassion, teamwork, and humility. The School prioritizes pastoral care and the personal health and well-being of its students. The school embeds bioethics, social justice, and advocacy in the curriculum and has a strong and growing commitment to Aboriginal Health. We offer significant rural training opportunities in NSW, Victoria, and WA. An end-to-end medical program – Kimberly Centre for Remote Medical Training (KCRMT)- based at the University’s Broome campus, will commence in January 2025.
